Matteo Capelli received his DDS degree in 1990 from the University of Milan (Italy). In 1992, He participated, under the guidance Dr. Cliff Ruddle, in his course of endodontics, Santa Barbara, California. In the years that followed, he had courses in implantology at Loma Linda University under Prof. Philip Boyne. Since 1998, he is a visiting surgeon teacher at the Department of Implantology, Hospital Galeazzi, University of Milan.
He is active member of the Italian Society of Endodontics, the Italian Oral Surgery Accademy and  the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
He has contributed several articles and chapters of books in the field of endodontics, implantology and oral surgery. He was a contributing writer in Dr. Testori’s book, Sinus Lift, where he wrote a chapter about mandibular bone graft.
He is a lecturer on topics related to implant surgery.
